Recently Cleveland Elementary participated as a school in The Great American Spell Check. Students took home pledge sheets and their parents and family members pledged money to the school for every word the student got correct on a 50 word spelling test. Principal Lofley said, "We had many students participate and we raised more than $2,200 for our school. The picture shows the students from each class who received 100 percent or only missed two on the spelling test. It was a great success and we wanted to thank all of the parents and community members that participated."
