Accident in Castle Dale

A two vehicle accident occurred at the Center and Main Street intersection in Castle Dale on Monday at approximately 3:30 p.m. A Ford Escape apparently pulled out in front of a truck pulling a horse trailer heading northbound. The Castle Dale EMTs responded to the scene to check out those involved in the accident. No one was transported. The vehicles sustained extensive damage. The traffic was diverted around the accident scene by the Castle Dale fire department and the Emery County Sheriff's Office. The Utah Highway Patrol handled the investigation. Ina Lee Magnuson was the driver of the Ford Escape and Andy Thatcher was the driver of the truck.
