Livestock show at the Emery County fair Aug. 1-3

Emery County will be holding the fourth annual livestock show at the Emery County Fair. Animals can be checked in on Wednesday July 31 starting at 6 p.m and goes until 9 p.m. And again Thursday August 1 beginning at 8 a.m. until noon.

"This year we will be having all kinds of animals from rabbits, and chickens to horses, cows, sheep, and everything in between. If you are interested in bringing your animals down please call ahead so we can be sure to have plenty of cages and places to put all the animals.

"On Aug. 1 we will be doing a turkey call contest for all ages starting at 6 p.m. the top 3 winners will be able to take home their very own pet turkey.

Friday Aug. 2 we will do a duck race where you can win your very own pet duck, there will also be tons of different games, and fun things for the kids to do and cool stuff for them to win.

"On Saturday Aug. 3 we will have drawings to give away different animals at 3 p.m. and fun games and events all day. There will be games and prizes randomly throughout all days of the fair. Please come to the indoor arena for tons of fun, great animals and fun games its going to be awesome. We will see you there," said event organizers.
