The statement by the Emery County Lands Council which was printed in the Nov. 28 issue of the Emery County Progress generated some dialogue within the community. However, subsequent articles and editorials referencing the Lands Council statement appeared in other publications including the Salt Lake Tribune. The original statement is available on the Emery County website at EmeryCounty.com. under Recent News / Impacts to Emery County Lands. Those interested citizens wishing to comment on Emery County's position would do well to read this statement.
